Shrubs

We grow around 100 varieties of shrubs to give continuous interest with guarantee of a flowering plant every month of the year.

Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron 

All our ericaceous plants are outdoor grown and fully hardy.  Rhododendron can be cool stored in spring to control flowering time for our customers.

Pieris

Pieris are our best selling plant, we have lots of varieties available in good  numbers.  A must have shrub to display in spring.

Conifers

We have one of the largest selections of conifers available in the UK, everything from dwarf, ground cover to hedging varieties.  1.4 litre (in trays), 4.5 and 10 litre specimens included - see our catalogue for the full list.

Hydrangea

Hydrangeas are grown in large quantities with a selection of mop head, lace cap and Paniculata varieties.  These are all grown outside to produce robust self supporting stems and no need of staking. Customers are encouraged to book stock in advance.  We are now producing spring grown Hydrangea from Week 16 with summer grown from Week 26 to Week 34.

Helleborus

We produce the highly acclaimed Helleborus Gold Collection.  Commonly known as the Christmas Rose, this is our latest introduction for late early seasonal colour - see our catalogue for the full list.

Helleborus x. ballardiae Maestro

This Gold Collection Helleborus, Maestro has wide flowers which open white and turn dusky pink, and mature to cloudy pink when all stamens have fallen off. Evergreen leaves are palmately divided, leathery, and almost lying on the ground taking up a larger area than other varieties.
