Jantar forms a cheery, slender, yellow-leaved conifer. Having more lateral branches than most yellow leaved cultivars, results in a much denser appearance providing year round colour and texture. The yellow-green foliage changes to a warm amber shade during late autumn and throughout the winter. This hardy evergreen conifer would provide a perfect focal point for a rockery, large container, border, or as an individual specimen.
This is a dwarf version of the Thujopsis dolobrata, and a wonderful little landscape plant that is seldom seen in this country. The foliage of Thujopsis Nana resembles that of its larger counterpart, with size being the major distinction - nana foliage is much smaller in size, and thinner in texture. Same interesting shape, which tends to resemble the formation of elk horns, or antlers as it matures.....which gives this species a very unique, interesting appearance.
This golden-leaved Yew has a neat and compact habit that forms a manageable, evergreen shrub with maturity. The young foliage emerges bright golden yellow in spring and slowly deepens to yellow-green with a golden edge. Older foliage ages to a darker yellow-green colour. Taxus baccata 'Summergold' is a useful variety for bringing formality and year round colour to rock gardens and borders, or creating a vibrant hedge or screen.
This Creeping Juniper has a delightful spreading habit that will create fabulous evergreen ground cover. The silvery-blue foliage has a fine texture and pungent aroma which is characteristic of Junipers. Throughout winter, the branch tips of Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Chip' turns to bronze- purple, adding a gentle colour-accent to this low growing conifer.
